Brayden wasn't so sure about them. Dining in China should be fun with my not-so-adventurous boys!
Then when we got home, we put up the countdown calendar and Brayden crossed off the days in February that have passed.
I put a bottle of bubbly in the fridge after our Article 5 was picked up before Chinese New Year and marked it up with "TA" and "Travel Approval."
We broke into it last night and enjoyed a toast:
Brayden doesn't like it, but Gavin was excited for a glass of "bubbly juice." (Everyday is Christmas as far as Gavin is concerned.)
| Don't judge - it was less than half a cup, it's non-alcoholic, and this was probably only the second or third glass of carbonated anything he's ever consumed. |
Seems like yesterday we were all drinking peach bubbly and hoping for referrals...ok...maybe it doesn't seem like yesterday, our families went through much frustration to get to a joyful 2012! But it's so great to see you all planning to meet your daughter at last! It will all be worth it when you take her hand for the first time.
ReplyDeleteIndeed - the peach bubbly makes a triumphant return!!
Deletelove it! what a great way to celebrate! :o) i let my almost 2.5 year old try her first "bubbly" fruit drink on New Year's Eve...so I will be the last to judge. lol!
